I enjoyed that one song or whatever that she had on the radio back when I was in tune with pop-culture but eh...
Not genuinely interesting. Awesome review.
Trey (or anybody else, really), any female singer-songwriters in this genre that do things a little more remarkably that you'd recommend?

Actually 105K was number one so that probably means all the rest were doing badly too.

I've been checking out Trey's recommendations and I also recommend Lene and Marissa and HIGHLY recommend Holly McNarland.
Some of my own recommendations: A Fine Frenzy, Regina Spektor, Anna Nalick, Leslie Mills, Kate Voegele, newer Mandy Moore, The Pierces, Molly Jenson, Caitlin Crosby, Eliza Gilkyson, Aimee Mann, Stacie Rose, Prescilla Ahn, Marie Digby (1st album, don't like the new one so much,) Brandi Carlile, Bonnie McKee, Nina Gordon, Thea Gilmore, Cindy Alexander, etc. Some are less pop than others, but I think all are much better than Colbie.

Oh, and Ingrid Michaelson is great, too, unless you want a really alternative or rock sound.
Kay Hanley and Michelle Branch are more rock in Kay's case and country-pop-rock in Michelle's case. But I highly recommend them.
