HAHAHAHAHAHA. I didn't know you were from Nanaimo, Aids. I mean, I knew you were a Canadian from BC, but I always assumed you were a Vancouverite haha. I'm actually headed your way this May as part of a cross-Canada trip, but that's another story.
Have you heard their latest album Eureka, by any chance? If yes, thoughts?

no I haven't yet, but I plan on listening to and reviewing it soon. their set was a third from Touch Up, a third from O My Heart, and a third from Eureka. If the 7 songs from Eureka that I heard live are any indication, I won't like the album nearly as much as this one, but I have a huge embarrassing boner for this album. Seriously having a rating of over 4 for a Mother Mother album makes you look like you have terrible taste haha, ohwell. Nostalgia, it's a bitch sometimes.

and I was born in Vancouver and was at UBC, so I was living in Van, but I'm not right now. I'm thinking on moving back to go Audio Engineering school....

this album is insanely catchy from first listen, cant believe they've never had any sort of recognition in Australia. Wrecking Ball is my fav so far

agreed hard. they're getting pretty big in Canada so I bet they'll be getting airtime in Australia soon.

This band's musical prowess is criminally under-acknowledged. Their mastery of melody and harmony is crazy. MM dishes out hooks relentlessly and never gets stale. I haven't heard a whole lot beyond this album, however. I prefer it to what I've heard from the others.
