Wow this is getting underrated. Sounds a decent album, good energy and invention and the melodies aren't bad.
I see the usual critic's trick of comparing a group to some other band and saying they don't have they aren't original has been used (as if anyone is completely original nowadays lol). :D Well even if they did sound similar to Cut Copy this would probably be better than anything I have heard by that band. Actually it doesn't sound similar to Cut Copy anyway as CC have a simpler sound from what I have heard and this is a more involved production with very lively rhythms.
If you like lively melodic dance music give this a try and don't listen to the others. :D

We're all critics now on the internet. For music reviews, film reviews (imdb) etc. So I am too and with as much validity to my comments as many other people. Professional critics who actually get paid to do it aren't necessarily more informed about what they are reviewing than many other amateur critics.
