Really liking this

So Round and Round is Pitchfork's #1 song of the year. I'm really, really not seeing why.
|
| |
i really like that song
it's not perfect as it sort of meanders around but the "HOLD ONNNNN IM CALLIN" part is just amazing

Best chorus of the year, hands down. So yeah I can see why. I prefer "Can't Hear my Eyes" but that's originally from '08 or something.
|
| |
yeah i dont think i can name a song that has a better -section- than that chorus (this year)
|
| |
lol
|
| |
the chorus to that song makes me think of earth, wind & fire

album of the year, with track of the year. for once, pitchfork gets something exactly right.
|
| |
a lot of this is sort of directionless and thus i sort of get bored
but when it's focused ('bright lit blue skies' is an absolute fave) it can be awesome

^Agree. The awesome ones are DAMN good though

why cant the rest of this be as good as round and round/bright lit blue skies
|
| |
i find ariel pink is always kind of hit and miss
|
| |
after about a hundred plays of round and round i'm getting to the rest of this. great stuff, even if i agere with kane for the most part. this record is way more fun than doldrums though.
|
| |
this has two really great songs, the rest i cant be bothered to listen to tbh
|
| |
i should probably give this a listen
|
| |
