I thank this review for putting the gift wrap of a great, techical, progressive thrash album over a truly generic piece of shit. Generic drumming, generic riffing, generic solos, generic vocals. Just generic. In fact, I heard the first album, switched over to the third album and heard the same style of riffing, almost as if I was listening to the same song crossover from one album to the next. I see why this band is "underrated". They suck. Just my opinion, but a well written review. I just dont agree with it.

This sounds sweet so far
Not as raw as their past efforts, more focused, this seems to be the definitive Sadus album
And the DiGiorgio here is fucking INSANE
|
| |
Illusions will always be the definitive sadus dude
But yeah this fuckin rules
|
| |
They sound good, but except for the Digiorgio, i dont find them THAT OMFG good. On this album they try to expand their sound a bit (not that DiGiorgio needed it), and thus (IMO) they sound better and not so one dimensional.

I should check this out soon
|

This is gonna be my first Sadus album since people are saying the production is best on this. Can't stand bad/old production on thrash records, but I still live to thrash, that's why my favorite thrash records are usually from the early 90's. Bands either seemed to have figured shit out by then, or the technology was better. Probably Both.
In any case, two tracks in and this shit is heavy. Parts of it remind me of Mental Vortex a little.

production be damned it just rules too hard
