I almost started crying while watching this video because I'm going through the same thing. Actually in mi spanish class last year this kid would bash me everyday. He used to say "Shut up emo girl" or "fuck you. no one asked you you fucking goth girl" and this year during gym i got the nickname "emo girl". But i love the way i am and i feel rite wen i look like this....but my friends and family don't seem to understand. This is who i am. And this is how im going to stay.

people bug me alot becouse of how i dress and the music i listen to and my parents always are mad at me becouse of that and i am always lonely.and my mom even threw all my clothes away and replaced it with holister and all that and now i just get used to it cuz when people call me emo i know they dont even know what that means so it dosent bother me.you have to realize people are stupid if they bug u based on the first look or your music

Black Veil Brides may be an emo band...but just cause they are doesn't mean that everyone who listens to it is. Andy is a good song writer...he doesn't write to just a certain audience....anyone can listen to there music. Bvb tries to tell people its ok to be different and stand out....

titan50 watch the video for perfect weapon. youll get the full experience. dressing this way isn't like something you can't help. its not like being a different race or gay. everyone wants to make everything they do a big deal and to be victimized. What's sad is this band is just capatilizing off these kids naive misplaced sorrow.

There are different degrees of this crap. This is flamboyant and overboard and no one should be dressing like this unless they are in a band but actually no not even that. i mean i'm not preppy by any means and I have tattoos but I still dress normal. These guys are just mad attention seekers. They're succeeding.

I despise how some girls like this music, I see them in walking out of Hot Topic with this bands shirt on and I'm like....... stupid beginner level scene bitch its only a matter of time before you move on to the devil wears prada or whoevers shirts have colorful designs and bubble letters with throw up all over it.

man i wish there were girls like that in my town, lucky, but all it really takes is to take control of what she listens to and make her cool.

it makes it funnier because "EMO" kids are offended by being called "EMO" even though thats what they're obviously going for.

I don't see what's wrong with his clean vocals, from the single/music video. Kinda smooth, crooner-ish. The image is silly, but he actually took me by surprise, don't normally hear that with riffs like these, I expected nothing but screams and emo-y metalcore.

Not worse then Brokencyde. They seem like they probably worshiped Ronnie era Escape the Fate though
