Great album!
I find this one a little disjointedand it's hard to listen to the whole thing at once.
But if youre a jimi fan it is a must have!
Jimi is the king of the Guitar, van halen sucks!

Hendrix just had great music period. I don't care what anyone said about his guitar playing. That's not why I listen. Great review.

So I've sorta listened to him for the first time in a long time. And he is great. I forgot that he really could play some cool stuff.

All Along The Watchtower is still the best song eva

Bob Dylan says that Hendrix's cover is the definitive version (it was originally Bob's song).

Hendrix's version can't even come close to the original.

I'm one of the bigger Bob Dylan fan on this site ... I own every album the man has released and I've seen him live 10 times ... and even I will admit that Hendrix's version owns the original.

And Dylan liked Jimi's take so much, he said Hendrix could cover anything of his he ever wanted to. Also, for several years now, Dylan has played a version of "All Along the Watchtower" closer to the Hendrix version than his own original. Crazy, eh?

Bob can think what he wants, the original is better by a mile. Anyway, this album actually kind of bored me. And I'm a guitarist. I'm going to Hell.

If any of his album's are boring, its Axis. I'm not saying Axis IS boring, though, I love

pretty much everything Hendrix did. If they found a piece of shit from Hendrix's ass, I

would probably like it.This Message Edited On 05.23.06

I'd say Are You Exerperienced would be the most boring album he has. Not like it is though.

I think we can agree that Hendrix at his most boring is really not that boring.

Dylan's and Hendrix's versions of All Along the Watchtower are very very different. I like them both a lot.

Buring of the midnight lamp has one of the most beautiful riffs i have ever heard. When i first heard this song i repeated it several times because i loved it so much. This album is a masterpiece. this is a line from xmen 2, but it makes perfect sense. Jimi Hendrix was,is, and always will be a "God amongst insects"

You should, of course it has the hits that alot of people know, Crosstown Traffic, Voodoo Child and All Along the Watchtower but there are alot of tracks you probably have never heard that you are missing out on.
