I kinda wish there was a band that sounded similar to Spiritech-era Alchemist. They're just so goddamn amazing.

I was thinking about it today and this band was crazy ahead of their time. This album was released only a few months after Through Silver In Blood.

What a brilliantly written and inspirational review Butkuiss, which is what Alchemist's pinnacle effort no less deserves.
Usually, if I hear a band had combined death metal, grindcore, tribal drumming, eastern influences, slide guitar and space keyboards into one whole - I would think it to be a disjointed listen, like a lot of progressive metal albums are.
But I want to encourage all potential listeners, somehow, god knows how, Alchemist made it work. Its a seamless whole and nothing sounds out of place. It totally works. Its just hypnotic and mesmerizing. There is nothing really like it. One of the best albums ever.
