Which is better between this and Bryter Layter, would you say? I've heard this now, and it's fantastic.

Really hard to say. I'd probably take this over any other Drake album if you put a gun to my head, but you should definitely get Bryter Layter if you like this.

Sadly I have a friend who hates him, but that friend is also musically retarded and his favorite band is Three Days Grace. So, yeah.

the six minutes of Three Hours seems to pass as if in a dream. Although that sounds as if it ought to have a negative connotation, I tend to find that music which does that can often be the best music out there.

I completely agree.

make Leonard Cohen look like a delightfully well adjusted individual

Haha

It surprised me when I read the lyrics to Fruit Tree. Nick knew what would happen. I feel bad because I watched Skin Too Few and a producer (I think) was talking about how he got mad because everyone said he was a genious (I'm guessing everyone is friends and family) but he didn't have any money or recognition.

I also felt bad when I found that he didn't play live because of the people in the bars basically ignoring him. They really missed out.

I also agree with you on the bass work. Amazing review. This Message Edited On 05.20.07This Message Edited On 05.20.07
