When i first listened to this when i was 11 years old, i thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, having been the first genesis album i had. I still include it in my top 5 genesis albums, and even prefer it to 'Selling...', but 'for absent friends' seems to stop the flow. Either that or it should have been put right at the beginning of the album, as a nice prologue for argubaly one of the best prog-rock anthems ever, 'The Musical box'. That aside, i will never cease listening to and loving every minute of this album. Brilliant.
