Hype I think you were the one that first got me into this. Not positive, but I'm pretty sure it was you.

i wouldnt doubt it, when i joined this site all i listened to was symphoblack

this is one of the albums that i still listen to out of that phase though, which i think is a testament to how good it is.

I was the same way when I first joined. Just decided to come back to this one the other day for the first time in forever.

whenever im in the mood for some cosmic keys i always go back to these three albums

kataxu - hunger of element
...and oceans - the symmetry of I
odium - the sad realm of the stars

i love all three of those and will defend them till the end

You guys should check out Obsidian Gate's The Nightspectral Voyage if you haven't heard it before, it's a masterpiece.

This is getting released on vinyl by Blood Music sometime, as well as on CD. They're also going to be releasing Ne Obliviscaris' Portal of I, Aquilus' Griseus and Arbor, Kauan's Pirut, and Moonsorrow albums on vinyl.

Sweet jesus, thanks for reviewing one of our releases!

Just for those who don't know - we re-released this towards the end of last year with a brand new remaster, supervised by the band. The vinyl is totally sold out already, and the CDs are 85% sold out.

EDIT - Only just noticed this was posted Jan 24, 20 -- 11! And not 14. Carry on.

Better than Nightside. Such a shame it doesn't get the same recognition.
