Very disappointed with this. Better than The Outsider though.

Just glancing down the tracklist makes me disgusted. All this "featuring" bologna.

both The Private Press and The Outsider
way to lump together things that shouldn't remotely ever be lumped together

Album Rating: 3.5
His music is the result of a hundred jigsaw puzzles loosely taped together in order to create some level of cohesion, but for a man who works from the remains of others Davis' scope and reach ultimately becomes limitless, because there is no blueprint to work from
each song a snapshot of a certain sound or a particular decade's worth of music that long ago earned its right to be included in the history and evolution of music as a whole
you nailed it twice better than i could. ironically, 'enemy lines' is pretty easily my least favorite thing on here

'Enemy Lines' officially rules
Good catch def

'what is obvious however,' -- you missed a comma btw. chunks of this writeup are brilliant for sure despite your misguided (aka different from my) views.

Gotta disagree here Deviant, this isn't Shadow's best, but its far away from his last piece of shit he released. Great review though.

I prefer The Outsider though :[

I'm still disappointed in your opinion of The Private Press.
O WELL
|
| |
I still really enjoy it, just not as much as you
|
| |
I wanted to like this album more, but at least there are some genuinely awesome moments here and there.
