As long as they're all as good as that Craig Finn record, I don't mind. Which they aren't, considering this one.

both were on Equal Vision.
Perhaps you ought to conduct adequate research before making incorrect assumptions and asking stupid questions.
This any good? Worth looking out?
yes. it's also worth checking out.

Nope, jonnys never been on equal vision. Even on the isles and glaciers ep it says he appears on behalf of rise records. .

The best songs by far are the bonus tracks...which aren't included on the regular album. Right Outside is one of my favorite songs so far in 2012.

Avalon was much better in my opinion. bigger hooks, more varied songs and anthonys voice was undoubtably less harsh. This album doesnt really stand out to me with the exception of Big Mistake. James would be a good song too if it was 3 minutes of the same verse and no variation in chord progression or vocal melody. good review though, sorry for the annoying label comment idk why i thought that was necasary.

i'm (sorta) busting your furry little balls brother don't worry about it
and i definitely agree, this pretty much ranges from vanilla to pretty good, whereas avalon was like "WOAH..... ok... ok.... ok..... WOAH.....ok......NICE..... ok..."
think I'd have to say I like avalon a tad bit more just because dear child is so fucking good.

yeah avalon had a lot of filler but just as many standouts. not to mention a really chill instrumental interlude. Im gonna give this a few more listens. I want to like it but so far im pretty dissapointed.

The deluxe edition song Only Love is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time.

I don't like the first half of the album as much as the second. The last third of "Only Love" is sooooooo hunting and in general, the songs are really catchy.

Pretty cool cover of "Moon Song"

I feel it's a fan album, but also an outlet for Anthony. There are quite a few songs about his son (some more obvious than others--James' song duh!). Some still strike me as a bit silly and lacking substance, and the production feels off on a few (I prefer the live versions of some), but it's still a great release that's been growing on me. Some songs I just freakin' loved off the bat, and some have those lines and 'moments' that speak to me. I feel the bonus tracks should've made it to the album; some/most of those are excellent.
What can I say. I like it. It was quite epic live.
