Oh, good thing you're joking. I would've had to label you a complete and total idiot otherwise.
|
| |
my mother is 53 years old. she works like a responsible adult and doesn't put out 'albums' about how sexy she is and how
much she likes to party, and also doesn't make the 'albums' title a *reference to a* drug that rocks peoples skulls just so
she can maintain relevancy with her fans. oh, wait, i meant son, yeah, son.
but it's alright, i labeled you an idiot a long time ago

Okay, so you don't want to have sex with your bland, untalented mother. Cool story, bro.
|
| |
i feel like not wanting to have sex with the performer who is so clearly trying to inform you of her sex appeal makes it pretty clear that the artist has failed in her purpose.
but you know, failed purposes and awkwardness in sexytown is a terrible reason to think something sucks, right

Right.

btw, aso - are you a fan of david guetta? he seems like he might be up your alley, same worthless dance bullshit.

Album Rating: 3.0 | Sound Off
No, not a fan. I'm not really into that sort of music though. I don't even like most of this, but the majority is on par with the similar sounding popular acts I've heard.
The non-dance tracks are excellent, hence the above average rating.
|

well as long as it's on par with the popular acts
3/5

Lol, that reading comprehension...
on par with the popular acts (~2.5)
a few excellent tracks (4+)

wow, you must suck at sputnik if a few excellent tracks warrant a 4+.
then again, Animals only has three excellent tracks, and i rated it a 5. OH WAIT
|

Album Rating: 3.0
Ok you've easily taken this whole 'how one should rate an album' bullshit too far tyr. Stop being a total fucking moron and shut up. Moreover you're acting like an elitist wanker.
If you can't get your head around that predominantly simple concept of 'arbitrary' then you have no hope.
|
| |
what is it about this userbase that makes them think that a 3 is a bad rating.
omg a staff didn't jizz and give it a 4 or 4.5. sue!
i'm not trying to troll here, but i seriously don't understand that. sorry to have offended you tay, i'll try not to do it again.

wow, you must suck at sputnik if a few excellent tracks warrant a 4+. Dude. I'm saying that there are a few songs on this that are 4+. That, combined with the rest of the album being ~2.5 level, equals an overall 3 rating. Lol. I'm trying to be nice here. Please use your brain a bit more.

I am hardly offended. I am more concerned with your obvious levels of ignorance. And yet again,
you still seem to have no handle on how users rate. Let me spell this out for, please don't make me
do this again.
You have Joe. Joe likes to rate certain albums a 3, he judges this based off no scale, no real
objective level of determination.
Then we have you. You like criticise people like Joe because they rate with the same kind of system
for which you rate: an arbitrary one. And yet you have to heart to dish out abuse for the simple
fact that:
a. someone rated something beyond your concept of "above average".
b. you personally dislike this style of music, which is yet another heresy performed by Joe
according to you.
Typical dumbass logic. So, again. Stop acting like a moron.

"If you can't get your head around that predominantly simple concept of 'arbitrary' then you have no hope."
i believe i have a pretty good understanding of the word, i.e. "a decision based on one's own discretion"
i don't want to go into why that's a very strange concept for a music site, (in that it implies that there are no rules), but please don't accuse me of being stupid. i failed in being nice, and for that you deserve an apology aso.
i understand that sputnik has no rules for rating, so that all ratings are arbitrary (yes, i do in fact think animals is the greatest album ever, but i only think that), i understand my ratings are arbitrary, but is it not the point to try to remain objective as possible?
i do take shit too seriously, and it's my main character flaw; but i like talking about this stuff. if you don't want to have the discussion, then don't have it.
moving on then

Is William Orbit still working with madge these days?

"but i like talking about this stuff. if you don't want to have the discussion, then don't have it."
Umm, no. You hardly don't want to have a mature discussion other than to proclaim your mind-bending insight into something you have little more understanding of than anyone else. You proved this on the previous page and only now you are accepting your foul-ups.
Perhaps, next time, use your brain which obviously does exist. I'm pretty sure I heard it trying to escape your skull to walk free.
@Dev, yeah he's here. On a few tracks.

dev - he apparently had a hand in it, but i've seen benassi's name too. probably a team.
