Agree that this and the new Pallbearer have been the only above average metal albums I have heard so far this year. I listened to this in its entirety yesterday and I was really blown away. Snakes for the Divine was all right and Death is this Communion had it's moments but this is by far the best HOF album yet

Meshuggah/High On Fire so far are the best metal albums of 2012, Dying Fetus might be up there too when its released.

I didn't like the new Drudkh at all. Addaura was cool and so was Kayo Dot though to a lesser extent. My favorite metal albums of this year so far are High on Fire, Spawn of Possession, Meshuggah, Hour of Penance, and Addaura.

kurt definitely got those guitars sounding angry... they got so much speed to them, that it might blow my high..

like theres a couple tracks that are fast as fuck for HoF at least. granted im not done with the album but i really hope theres more Madness and Samsara grooves. not bad though..
