Checked out a few tracks on Youtube, and they have a genuinely retro sound. Definitely going to listen to the entire album.

Great call...
Excellent review.
Will check this out.

Meh, still trying to figure out what to rate it. The production is ruining this for me.

I bet I would have the loved the shit out of this album in 2007.
Going to check it out though; been waiting to be impressed on a 2012 release all year.

Just a few things:
1. I really liked the second half of the album
2. idk if I would call this metal
3. is the album supposed to just end before barefoot finishes? (or do I have a bum copy?)

does this actually sound like Dream Theater? be honest plz
good review dude, only minor issue I'd have is that you don't really touch much on the vocals

This sounds like it should have been released in the 70s

They sound like Yes/King Crimson/Pink Floyd/Camel pretty much. But it's 2012.
|

Yeah, I think that's my issue. It's not 1970 anymore.

Just posting here so that this stays in my discussions and I remember to listen to it. Seems promising.

I thought the first song was a little underwhelming/longwinded but it picked up for me after that and I became progressively more engaged as the album went on.
Their sound is definitely very dated, but they pull it off quite well.

this sounds absolutely my sort of album, currently listening to the opening track.

Interesting retro progressive rock, don't expect to find any fresh idea here.
