This kind of music is kind of iffy to me. The only kind of aggrotech I like is stuff like X-Fusion

VAC has never really over-awed me, but this is pretty solid comparatively.

X-Fusion is more EBM, that's probably why.

Me either but he's been a solid contributor to the genre. This album is essentially the best he's ever been even at his peek (imo). Idt any VAC release has the potential to be rated higher than a 4/5.

I haven't listened to VAC for many years. I used to like the album Fun With Knives (1999) but it's hard to get into it again.

But I was fortunate to discover Maldire. I see it is already 5 years old. This is one of those cases (at least for me) where the album cover fits well with the music. I really like the sounds on this album and there's enough good atmosphere in the songs.

This album was very easy for me to get into and love it.

After second listen I like all 11 songs, that's a new thing with a VAC album for me, so far there were always enough songs on a VAC album I don't really like.

I really enjoy every song and what it does to my imagination. Also I love all the small details in every song and as I wrote, the album sounds like the album cover looks. Also, thanks to the atmosphere it is very easy for me to listen to all 11 songs in a row.

I always have a heart for those dark electro, futurepop, electro-industrial, ebm whatever bands. I don't listen to that many bands anymore as I did in 2007-2010 but there are still around 20 artists that are still important to me.

Even 11 months later today this album doesn't get boring. On my last.fm account it even was album of the month in january (most played).

It just has a perfect production, nice sound and small details everywhere. This is how I want dark electro / electro-industrial to sound like. Also nice vocals. The lyrics are standard for this genre but doesn't get in the way.

The strong point is the atmosphere that ALL 11 songs have, means it is a very nice experience for me to listen to all of them in a row. But still every song is easily distinguishable from the next one.

It's unfortunate the only list this album is on is from me but it deserves a 4.5 from me because it's a near classic in my music world and after 11 months all songs are still very enjoyable.
