Your summary sums up exactly how I feel about what I've heard from this album, I just had no desire to listen to the whole thing. Good review as well.
"He can scream highs and lows like it’s nobodies business and have a full tone while doing so"
I think you should change 'have' to 'has'. Or change the sentence because it reads pretty awkwardly as is, that might just be my opinion though.

Thanks wack, i changed the sentence altogether it did read a bit weird.
And i really wish i could enjoy this more. Its just that if you've heard one song off this youve pretty much heard them all

Really do not like his vocals, only when they're layered, they sound far too raspy/throaty for my liking. Good review.

i agree with the devolving statement... but it's still been lingering for 10+ years now.

It's not really going anywhere though. The only band still relevant in the genre is the red chord imo

Ok edited the review. Went into more detail on specific songs, completely changed the first paragraph, and elaborated more on the positives. I think its a lot better now but any more feedback would be appreciated
And Devotion and the title track do rule pretty hard

What you said about this album is what can be said about the entire band's discography lol. I agree with this review. The album is good, but it isn't really anything special. Same with the band. Talented but they aren't really that special.

The changes you made to the review pretty much fixed all of the issues I had with it.
If there is anything else you wanted to elaborate on, it should be the other elements in their sound(besides metalcore/deathcore). The way the review reads currently gives me the impression that instrumentally, Bleed from Within sound like the typical Sumerian Band. While I agree similar elements exist, I think their sound is almost equally balanced by mammoth sized grooves.
Maybe that is a matter of opinion, but I truly feel that this band are not as generic as you make them out to be(not calling them original either). After reading your review and then listening to the album for the first time, I honestly was surprised by some of the things I heard.
Anyway, good review +pos

@Jeet Agreed. Seriously all they need are better songwriters and/or start branching out and get out of their genericore comfort zone. And i havent even heard their other stuff, but if its more of this then i wont bother
@NonApplicable Cheers, and I do agree there are some monster grooves on this album. I'll probably give it another listen and make adjustments accordingly. Thanks for the feedback

Deathcore is seriously not as bad as some of you people make it out to be. It's just very popular to hate on.
Review was good other than the "Metalcore/deathcore is bad, but this is still a an okay album."
These paragraphs are as generic as some of these deathcore bands.

I never said deathcore was bad. I said you don't need talent to play it some of it. Just cause something's easy to play doesn't make it bad, and I'm sure learning an Emmure song is easy as fuck.
That said, it's probably my least fav subgenre. There are only a handful of deathcore bands I care about

Spot on review Ins, I'm going to listen to it again, just to make sure but I think you managed to nail it.
|

Well you could say you don't need talent to play any genre of music really.

I imagine deathcore being the easiest though. If its that much of a problem i can take those sentences out of the review but i really didnt mean to give it negative connotation
Well besides that little jab at Emmure

Well you could say you don't need talent to play any genre of music really. you could say it, but you would be wrong.

almost negd cause you began with the generic talk-about-hoe-bad-deathcore-is introduction

Do remember when Emmure was mentioned?
