But The Great Below???

I do like that one part of The Great Below that's at the climax. Not a fan of Into the Void at all really though. That "oh wuh AH OW" thing Trent does in it irritates me to no end.

You know there's something wrong with your writing when it takes you more than 15 paragraphs to explain a divergant
opinion on an album generally perceived as 'good'.
and it is industrial rock/metal, not 'industrial,' this isn't Cabaret v's or SPK we're talking about.

shit review"
omg hahahahahahahahahaha
fucking massive review man, but I might give it a read. I've heard this in passing, but I'm not a huge NIN fan so I've never bothered to listen to this/rate it. A huuuuuuuge negative review (from a fan of the band!) for an album with a 4.3 average, hot damn, that's (probably) some good reads.

That "Ocean pulls me close" part, right? It makes me tear up every single time I hear it.

@GiaNXGX Yeah, because all my reviews are totally as long as this. My reviews are usually very short
and concise, especially as of late, but I just wanted to get in depth and fleshed out with this one
specifically. It's not like I struggled to shorten it or anything, I just chose to make it lengthy
because I wanted to make sure I covered every angle I wanted to cover in depth. And yeah, sorry I'm
bringing an uncommon standpoint to the table Gia. I should know that's a terrible thing to do right?
And I'm pretty sure I say multiple times that is is an industrial rock record even if I don't say
"industrial" and "rock" right after one another.

@bloc Yeah dude, that part. Then when he just belts out "IN THE GREEEEEEAT BELOOOOOOOOOOOOOW" and then that really beautiful guitar (I think it is?) plays and the outro starts. I tear up too, I admit. But yeah, I love that part specifically a lot.

Don't agree, enjoy most of the instrumental work more than the actual tracks here.
Wasn't a huge fan of TDS however, and the entire review could be summed up by:
tl;dr TDS is better

What? I couldn't care less about the score you gave to this mediocre album. My point was, however, that there's no fine
relation between a 'purposedly' grotesque lenght critique and its rating. Even when this album hurts your feelings so bad you
had to break it, writing an essay on it is unnescesary, pointless even. Do you realize the finest pieces of journalist writing are
commonly the ones that simplify; minimalise wording in favor of meaning, keeping matters short yet engaging and worthwhile
to read. I also don't mind your old reviews as I'm focusing on this one.
And I'm pretty sure I say multiple times that is is an industrial rock record even if I don't say
Except you say they're the most famous 'industrial music' group. When NIN started getting more industrialish 'industrial
metal/rock' fits better; generalizing a genre's 'top artists' when there are distinct factors that differentiate its subgenres is also
dumb. If real industrial fans like Meatplow were on sputnik they would've decapitated you. Don't raise controversial, ignorant
statements like that one.

How funny is it that Aids gets contributor after his little butt-buddy backing of Jom in the thread
where new Staff and Contributor positions were announced?

He's been a cocksucker for awhile now.
