Hall, Warrior, Blood and Onward are all excellent albums. But anything from the 70's follows the rool of cool.

Kings of Speed is so out of place lol
A fast, straight forward rocker to close up an atmospheric, space-rock album

@RunoftheMill That's just one of the reasons why Hall is better. Motorhead doesn't fit either...
|
| |
Motorhead is a bonus track (single) so it doesn't count vis a vis the vibe of the album. I like how Kings of Speed sends you off with
something a little more conventional and poppy, but I see your point.
Magnu is Hawkwind's greatest studio recording and one of their three or four best songs...

Really? What about Assault & Battery / Golden Void? That's my favourite Hawkwind song(s)
They need to get Stevie Wilson to remaster HotMG ffs

is that really Lemmy that sings on Motorhead? His voice was so much cleaner back then, what the hell happened between 1975 and 1977 for him to get that gruffy snarl?

On another note, it needs to be said again, that opener is absolutely incredible. That high-pitched synth + sax in Golden Void gets me everytime
