Bro me all you want. If something genuinly interests you, I think you should check out the effort as a whole. Although, considering its Kanye, I do see that some people would have a reservation or too.

people that are acting like this is terrible and then offering no real argument don't know anything. I don't usually say things like that, but like, do you guys know anything about pop music? Don't be so reactionary. Listen to the album and try to grasp what its purpose is before giving it a 2 to be edgy, never listening again, and dismissing as objectively terrible. Seriously you guys, let's put some brain cells to work and actually have an intelligent discussion about this album. If you have an actual reason for thinking that this is terrible, I'd like to hear why that is.
I wasn't sure about it at first, but I'm really starting to get into just how ridiculous it is. At this point, it makes sense for Kanye to make an album like this (following MBDTF I mean). It's similar to 808s in some ways (except that 808s sucked) in that he's "experimenting" or something, but I think he hones it in well here and keeps it interesting. His rapping is just as good as ever, and his lyrics are so much more narcissistic and ego-maniacal; this guy actually thinks he's the most important human being to have ever lived. The entertainment value that I get from that alone is enough for me to enjoy this album, honestly.
But yeah, on my 3rd or 4th listen now and I'm really liking it. Obviously less than Fantasy, but it might be on par with College Dropout and Late Registration (though it's weird to compare this album to those two).

if you dig King Crimson's 21st Century Schizoid Man, Kanye actually samples that song on Power. chances are, you've heard that song numerous times though. check it out if you're interested.
