"what do you think of Lydon's vocals in PiL"
yeah not a huge fan of pil mainly because of the vocals. They're still more tolerable than on here and fit the backing instrumentals better. Here it just sounds garbage over the music.
I like Mother of Earth and The Breaking Hands though and he somehow manages to not sound completely out of tune on those songs

Well, then it makes sense I guess. PiL is as post-punk as it gets, and I love it when it goes out of tune. Hence I don’t have issues with Miami either, it didn’t even occur to me that the vocals aren’t right. Great record imo.

JLP might be my favourite rock singer :/

Tough call. Off the top of my head I’d go for Mark E Smith, which is to say I’m for style over substance when it comes to vocals.

"and I love it when it goes out of tune."
It's a fine line. If done right it can add character and style to a song. If done wrong it'll completely ruin the listening experience. I'd argue it's done wrong here.

Nah, this record fucks. So does The Gun Club in general.
