In the first sentence, I'd use a semicolon when you say, "the common theme that exists with Jimmy Eat World is this; that..."
Halfway through the second paragraph you use variety twice in the same sentence, and then again a couple of sentences later. Maybe it's nitpicking, but personally I'd try to mix up my word choices.
Other than these tiny complaints, great work, it really shines through how personal this record is to you and your descriptions of the songs are fantastic.
Oh, and Empire Empire are one of the whiniest bands in existence.

Imo, Clarity and Static Prevails are miles above the rest of their discography.
Static Prevails for when I feel angrier and Clarity or when I think about the girl I like.
Oh, and you guys should seriously check the selftitled EP if you haven't. It features For Me This Is Heaven and Lucky Denver Mint, but aside from those Roller Queen (!!!), Softer and Your New Aesthetic (demo) are some of their best(tter) songs.
I have that on CD, feels so old school.

Is it worth getting the remastered version of this? I have the original version and it sounds great as it is. Is the improvement between the two versions significant enough for it to be a worthwhile purchase, or do you not even notice the difference?
