So much of our experience of art is dependent on context. Often, our enjoyment of a piece of music can rely almost completely on our mindset; whether we are happy and content, wallowing in self-doubt and self-pity or so high we feel like we are about to melt into the couch is often as definitive as to what we derive from the experience as the songs themselves.
