well this isn't nearly as bad as i thought it was. Luke Holland really brings some interesting rhythm on the drums and even though Telle's performance is more inconsistent than before he still sounds pretty good at times.
lighthouse is such a lol song though, you can tell they wanted it to be a big anthem like 'life cycles'. I really like play the victim, glass castle & never forget

i much prefer telles uncleans to his cleans.

me too. his cleans are solid, but a bit whiny at times. he was such a beast of a screamer though, i always wished they had committed to doing a few full on heavy tracks that had no cleans.
i even remember thinking they were going to when they were covering 94 Hours by As I Lay Dying at some live shows

this album is where he started losing his cleans, after this he sounds shot as hell

at times the production here sounds like it's aiding his cleans. I never really bothered with anything after this back in the day, but am probably gonna at least give Dark Matter a spin with low expectations.
did you try the new album out?

i think its my favorite non life cycles song by this band

Album Rating: 4.0
I seriously love this album lol. It doesn't reach the highs of life cycles or deceiver but it's probably their most consistent album (especially if you do some bonus track swaps).
idk why i hated this so much when it came out.

more like REAL BAD lol

I probably only like this cause i was craving some nostalgic-core. still think it's better than what most bands in their scene were putting out at the time. there is some legit guitar/drum work here.

totally trying to manifest a ten year anniversary album tour of this next year

They do not like this album and over half the members that were on this are gone lol

but TWA are so successful now since abandoning this sound i'm sure luke holland and the gang would be down for a reunion lol
i know there is no way they tour this album though, just not popular enough. It's hard to top some of the highs from Deceiver & Life Cycles but i think this might be my favorite by them now, just so consistent.

I would certainly enjoy it lol but I don't see it ever happening, they really don't like this album!
This is a dark horse in their discog and I do really love it, wish it got more love than it did. Life Cycles will always be my favorite but this is easy 2nd for me. Have you heard the bonus tracks? They are super good, Pull Us Out Of The Grave and Exit Strategy
