And you'll see a lot of love for that era, Ars ;]
And yes, I know Major Tom already did a discog review earlier on. But he never touched on the last few albums, so I figured I'd do the entire thing

This is only a 2.5 instead of a 2 because essentially every song has a moment that causes me to laugh out loud

Excellent review, Brendan. I don't remember a single note from this album, but reading your review is the equivalent to listen to it once more ;)
A little typo here, at the 2nd para;
''...and quite a few songs (most notably “Rubber Band,” “Little Bombardier,” and “Maid of Bond Street”) and have brass-based orchestration of some sort.''
Not bad for a French speaker hahah

Yeah, unfortunately I abandoned the discog review a long time ago. The next album will be Hunky Dory, so hopefully I can get back to it eventually

@Koris,
Sorry, it was a misunderstanding. Review Pos'v friend.
I was talking about me doing a discog run.
Starting (an other) discog run of one of my favorite artist. Here. David Bowie debut is a shallow one. A little amateurish LP, but already a magnificent uneven voice in the making.

This is honestly some of the most flat out annoying, twee, half-arsed shite to come out of the London folk pop scene of the 60s. If you'd played this for me and then told me David would go on to become a music icon, legend and chameleon of styles I'd say you were batshit crazy. "Uncle Arthur" and "Please Mr. Gravedigger" are just offensively bad, my god David, what were you thinking?
