How much does Sean do on that?

Is it as good as you two are making out? Because if so, I need it.
Ink Compatible, you mean? It's a really good album, but I personally don't like Spastic Ink as much with the vocals. If you liked Watchtower, you should like it, because the main vocalist for the album is Jason McMaster.

Sean Malone only plays on one song (In Memory Of..), but he does get a couple of solos. It's an interesting album overall though, because there's about eleven guest artists who make appearances on various tracks (not including people who contribute voices/vocals - Daniel Gildenlow sings on one song).

Daniel Gildenlow? Holy crap, I love that guy. Darn you Bartender, now I need it even more!

By the way, have you heard the latest Pain of Salvation record? It's incredible.

I knew if I mentioned Gildenlow it'd get you interested

And no, I haven't heard it. I'll keep an eye out for it though.

excellent review as always!
Spastic Ink are unbelievable. You just sit there and listen and then wonder "omg! what the hell are they doing?!" I hadnt realized how difficult music to get into it is until they put a song on the radio and the radio producer received 5 messages from people begging him to stop the track! ... stupid people, I bet they're the same who ask for cof songs...

i really like this album

I got into the band with "To Counter and Groove in E minor". The song itself blew me away, but especially the bass playing. And it was technical. After getting the rest of the album, the rest is history.

Getting this in a few days. As soon as I heard A Wild Hare, it was obvious that I needed this in my collection. All the songs are great but that track in particular is worth the purchase.

The production on this album is absolutely laughable. Makes it almost unlistenable.

It's for that reason I prefer Ink Compatible.
