Been listening to this and Betrayer off and on for the last few days. Really good stuff from this band. Will get to Woman You Saw soon, too.

There's a very good chance I got this from you Mars, if I remember right. It was either this or Eden Main... or both.

Well this is a 4.5, Betrayer is a 4.5, and their debut (Woman You Saw) is a 5. So I wouldn't be surprised if I nerded out about them before...

Little bit of pride-infused since they came from Dayton. Ohio representin'

(also, I have a love-hate-but-mostly-hate relationship with Amazon, but I got their whole CD discog for under 10 bucks)

I did bandcamp. They did a digital discog bundle discount a while back when I first started looking into them, so I went ahead with it after a quick sample. Finally getting around to really listening to them.

You had to buy it? They offer their music NYP on their bandcamp, shouldn't have to pay.

That does appear to be the case.

Hmm... I must be thinking of a different band...

I only had to pay because I got physicals, their bandcamp has been NYP for as long as I can remember.

I know I gave them money for their music. I always appreciate a band that offers their music for free, but if I enjoy it enough to want to download it, I like to give artists something for their work.

I had a bandcamp spree a while back, and I remember getting a few of those discount bundles where they do the whole discog for 20% off. Just got them confused with another in that run, most likely.

Gotcha. I never buy digital music though, it's physicals-only for me.

I used to be like that. Then I got into a long term relationship and got married and my wife all of a sudden says I have 'too much stuff.' We do move around a lot and it makes packing a bitch, I will admit.

There are certain things I still will go out looking for or will order off amazon, if need be, but I finally compromised with her and started either buying more digital stuff or selling some physical copies when I find them growing off me for a long period of time.

Hell, sometimes it is cheaper to buy physical copies, rip to my computer, and then sell it to a used cd store than to buy the mp3 version of it. Then I buy more things with the credit, and the cycle repeats itself.

Ah, I see. Your mistake was getting tied down!

I have a feeling I'll keep collecting until I've got everything I truly want. There's admittedly some stuff in my library that's rather dated and I wouldn't lose much sleep over selling them. It would certainly help make room for the other goodies I plan on getting throughout life.

Tis true. It was all downhill for my cd collection after that.

The weakest of their three albums but still slaps.

This is one of the only bands I've encountered that pulls off intentionally shitty production.
