this has grown on me over the years. i'll say the only thing that keeps me away this point is the lyrics. they are some of kevin's most on-the-nose and bitter lyrics he's ever written. it's way more diary than poetry.

Agreed this is my least favorite album, but it has also grown on me a bit over time. Totally agree about lyrics - Aureate Gloom has some bitter, dark lyrics but it felt more poetic than this. This album is such a mixed bag and I much prefer every album that came after this (yes, even UR FUN).
