I never liked Shadow of the Day, always thought it was redundant to have that and Leave Out All the Rest when it was notably weaker

The ballads are the weak tracks of this record. Besides they ditch tracks like qwerty, no roads left, across the line, debris, homecoming, asbestos and more which were planned to be part of minutes, if those demos would have been present on MTM the album would have been much more solid
