I kinda think this album, and TSOC to an extent is a bit too polished, i dunno, there is a certain "lifeless" essence about both albums, hard to explain (despite liking previous one quite a bit)

I actually thought this one sounded a bit lifeless

Guaranteed it's either a dweedle, djun, or a kick drum

Nicely written Claire, doesn't sound like my jam at all though. Love the art for this anyhow.

Thanks for the awesome review and for bringing this band to my attention. After a quick listen to their discography, I really like TSOC so far.

TSOC is arguably their strongest LP - it's pretty much the better-written, less derivative version of The Way Forward

I still think A Voice Within is their best

yup AVW hands down their best, with Atlas Hour being their best song ever.

Well, I only listened to the albums a little, and now I'm kind of stuck on TSOC, but so far: TSOC>>IT>TSB=TWF>AVW(Inst.)>AVW
But I may be completely off base, and I'll see that after I gave them multiple thorough listens.
@bloc Sweet Tooth is my first love, so it's the favourite so far, but I can definitely see Libra changing that, it's ridiculously good, especially that solo.

Hell yeah man, it's such a bright and cheerful song too
