the new album is just a "luxury" reissue of the 97 EP. and yeah, nowhere near as okay as this.

Remeber His Name has some of the coolest lyrics ever. This is a great album right through though, perfect for a long drive.

i'm bumping this to a 5, for me this album is a true gem, even with the songs towards the end that initially gave me the impression of tapering off i've come to love

interesting fact, the main sample from "This Is" appears to be from an obscure japanese sadomasochistic porno called Tokyo Decadence.

i pretty much dislike rap altogether but some reason 'a day at the races' is such a great song, i dont know if its the funk beat or the rapping itself but i dont find it as tiresome as most rap.

found the real origin of that sample

also love the use of Ennio Morricone's La Lucertola in Remember His Name

If there is one thing I love about this album it's just the choice use of samples.

Chill and simultaneously arousing. Thin Line is so good.
