I’ve busted so many times to this album. November can suck my nut.

Extol influence is obvious, but it's such a fresh package. The singer's range is really impressive. I thought the harsh parts were Peter Espevoll at first. And with the indie vibe it's like Edie Brickell meets avant/prog thrash.

Thanks for the great review. Album is sensational, every member brought something special to the party. Eleni has gorgeous cleans but her shouting is shockingly great.

Fantastic stuff, what's heard is definitely what I would expect Voivod and analogous bands to embark to, sooner or later.

Damn, I regret not giving this a 4.5 from the get go on the review. This is becoming an AOTY scheme breaker.

Edit: Turns out I CAN edit scores too (duh!)

Was a little bit annoyed when I learned the next Extol was on the backburner in order for Christer and David to get this sorted but now that this is out, it’s pretty much everything I could ever want following up Extol’s last record. Stunning album.

It's like Extol but I actually unreservedly love the vocals. Never liked Extol's cleans.

I'm glad to see so many others enjoying this. I've jammed it daily since the NPR stream surfaced.

I'll also echo the love for the vocals. This could have easily been a mere Extol/DEP mashup (which wouldn't have been the worst thing by any means), but those vocals give it an identity of it's own.

Everyone needs to check it, if anything just so it has a chance of booting fucking Architects off of the best new music page

2 spoonfuls of Extol, 1 of DEP and female voice goodness sauce.
