Have you ever checked GAS Demon? The ambient washes in the background here remind me a lot of his work. Check Zauberberg if you haven't already done so, an ambient techno classic. All of his works are if you ask me, haha!

I'd seen this compared to GAS somewhere, from memory this sounds more on the 'musical' side of ambient/less droning (but I only checked his latest). I will have to revisit.
