Like I've said i'm ok with some evolution, and so far every 65 album have clicked after a while. But I've never been so bored with a 65 album. Never. I'll pass with this one thank you.

Thanks Johnny!
Why rate albums after only one listen and/or when not being in the mood for the respective type of music?

How on Earth is TDOSI ‘straightforward post-rock’... are you sure you’ve actually heard it?

The arrangement is obvs classic 65dos, but the dynamics and structure felt pretty familiar :/

The drums (inc. the programmed ones) are more intense at times (especially Wax Futures), they started their path towards a more ‘EDM’ orientated sound found on WWEA with ‘Distant and Mechanised Glow’... of course the remixed version came in-between. Guest vocals on Conspiracy of Seeds, first time traditional vox were ever used.
It wasn’t definitely a bit of a departure, even if a few of the base structures were similar.

This sounds nice but very generic of this sort of IDM/soundtrack vibe
I don't think there's a single bar of originality on the thing unfortunately

@doof wait what? saying a fully procedural generated album in not original also calling 65dos IDM damn.

I’m saying the vibe reminds me of a lot of soundtrack and IDM albums could I not have been clearer?
I’m not majorly interested in how the music is derived (procedural generated etc) beyond that being reasonably interesting - the end product doesn’t sound very original no.

So they’ve finally committed to what’s been on the cards for a while now... completely disappearing up their own backsides, funny thing is I don’t actually mind it so far.
