ooh nice, Dirty Day is wonderful

The Wanderer is super under-appreciated too, will we see any love for that on there?

That's how I feel, don't get why that one is considered the worst. After the first three songs it's excellent.

Do you feel love is pretty sweet tbh. Discotheque and mofo I agree tho

Miami is pretty awful too. Everything else is pretty good tho

The very underlying nature of Pop makes it feel like a unique statement compared to all of U2's other work, even if the topics remain similar. The way it evolves as an album from the early disco highs to the quieter pleas of Please and Wake Up Dead Man has always stunned me. Definitely prefer that album to this one b/c even if it has a few dated weak spots, cynical superficiality is part of that album and its tour's message.

Popmart tour was their greatest tour in terms of image and concept. Then they became a cliche tour band.

360 degrees tour ruled.

I listened to Pop for the first time in a while and forgot how enjoyable and chill a lot of it was.

Pop is definitely better than this, that album is their strongest statement of purpose probably

Pop, Achtung, & War are my favorite U2

listening to this one right after something like War is such a wonderfully bizarre experience

the fact that they even made that "Kid A aboutface" in their career makes me love them way more than I might have otherwise

Dirty Day is ok but kind of a weird pick for "winning track" from this album

I love the sequencing of the first 6 tracks on here, so I wouldn't change it, but the way that it is, those last 4 have a very similar tempo and "vibe," with the exception of Johnny Cash being on The Wanderer of course

solid tracks on their own but they can kind of get lost in each other a bit for me when listening to the album as a whole
