Yeah the old guitarist was the problem, everyone left the band. Apparently this new album was made with an almost entirely new group but they used that guitarist's previously laid out songwriting to get it done. He isn't credited nor did he play on the album but his groundwork is what got this made, as he was the band's primary songwriter.

honestly I can see why the average is where it is, the album took time to heat up and is a grower. either way I can't wait to see what comes next
