Oh my goodness octagon all of your opinions are so correct!!! I agree 100% with that, Demon Days all the way. And this is the first one I actually enjoyed since Plastic Beach.

self titled is probably the least consistent of the 3 for me but it's also just so raw in it's identity. its the og gorillaz album, blemishes and all. like it's prob their *worst* classic (lol) but it's also probably their most *iconic* classic.
but demon days and plastic beach are better albums overall imo and conceptually blow s/t out of the water

as much as i like Demon Days, i feel it gets a little too much praise, same way Humanz gets too much hate. There's buncha mid tracks on DD, but the good tracks are really all classic.

I've gone back and forth a bit on momentary bliss but I dig it a lot now, and I have never liked Beck's whole smug hipster ironic thing even a little but for some reason I think Pagans is fun as hell anyway
