I feel the comparison to Ordinary Corrupt but I feel like MOL sticks the landing so much better than DH did. Ever since New Bermuda DH songwriting sounds forced af. Some of the "brutal" parts on this record fall flat like the verses on Serf and the middle section of the tracklist gets a little samey but this still rips harder than any blackgaze record since New Bermuda.
