@doof yeah a couple cuts here have that oberst sensitive guy thing going, think the one where I hear it the most is Grand Design

@sow glad you enjoyed! Tulsa, fence, and the t/t are definitely kind of the Big Event tracks here but after a couple listens I found every track is really impressive for what it's trying to do and has at least one killer line the album would be lesser without. Like the sound design on the closer is so unique and beautiful and down and back is just insanely catchy and fun, even goodnight loving trail feels like it brings an energy the album was lacking up to that point

I'm with Kompys, feels like every song is essential to the album in its own way

Is the title track the best song I've ever heard? Probably not but it makes me think about it which is saying something

Gotta listen to this a few more times but woohee some special things here

Glad you like it Dmathias! T/t is very much the pièce de résistance of the whole thang but repeat listens really put some shine on the tunes that blew right by me the first time around, the opener might currently be my fave just for how infectious it is

This might be a grower for me. I haven't listened to this style much in the last few years but I'm kind of getting Frightened Rabbit vibes from the first song for some reason.

Just bumped my rating up a few decimals. Really great stuff. Still a few songs which I find pretty disposable, but also a bunch of fantastic tunes.

The closer here is so gorgeous whew, not used to that level of Sound Design in folkountrycana outside of like maybe for Emma forever ago

Feeling the same as Sunny I think - The amazing stuff on here is some of the best I've heard in the genre recently, the rest serves its purpose. But I'm going to keep coming back

Still haven’t heard this oops. Crazy release week too so I won’t get to it this week either.
