As if someone who has a violinist/conductor/professor at the Royal Academy of Music's Junior Academy mother, and violinist Grandfather, has been learning from a very young age and went to a music school is somehow a genius because they have a good grasp of music theory

re. the whole genius thing, its just the most overused word in the english language and is often applied to people who have worked very hard at a particular skill for a long time, slowly getting better, which is not actually something most people can be bothered to do

whereas to me genius, or the really really special people, are incredibly gifted at something/understand a skill or craft without training
