Good album, but I honestly think they're a better band with Bon Scott.

This is why they call it the 2nd Greatest Selling Album of all time. It's 2nd to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'

Um, it's not the second. Eagles Greatest Hits 1971-'75 is #1, Thriller is #2, The Wall is #3, etc.

i think its a great album, but it gets old after a while. i know so many people who, when they hear the name ac/dc, they immediately think of back in black. but overall, its a pretty good album, and brian johnson is indeed an awesome singer

Good album. Would've been better with Bon though.

brian johnson doesn't sing. He yells. Annoyingly, and statically. His voice doesn't change from song to song. I mean, the notes he's singing. They're the same all the time. And aside from the solos, AC/DC sucks in every instrumental aspect, ESPECIALLY drumming.

WHY ARE THEY SO FAMOUS? Same reason as the Rolling Stones. Catchy, droning pop shit, and being in the right place at the right time.

I just don't understand what's so big about these guys. I really don't. Almost all their the guitar chords are the same notes and patterns and the singer, in all honestly, sux, and is really friggin annoying! Sure, I like Hells Bells, Back In Black, and to songs from Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, but that's it really. Maybe it's just cause I'm not an 80's music fan.

I think you guys should know about the bon vs. brian issue, that bon had seen brian perform before, and really liked him, so when trying to choose a new vocalist, they had this amazing singer that bon scott approved of.

The best AC/DC albums are as follows:

1. Powerage

2. Back in Black/Highway to Hell

3. I'd go with Let There Be Rock.

Well if you have any respect for Bon, and know that he actually found a singer like that very good, you might have at least some respect for Brian. And if youd listen to brian at all during the early 80s in BIB, FTATR, Flick of the switch, youd realize that he doesnt sound like you described him at all. Around the time of the razors edge is when his voice really has lost its power and could sound annoying to some. but listening to the 80s stuff doesnt sound like that at all.

his voice doesnt sound anything like that. you are thinking of his voice on the razors edge/ballbreaker/ stiff upper lip. Here, and on For Those About To Rock especially his voice is very sharp and powerful. If you listen to any song on For Those About to Rock, you'd understand the power of his voice, and realize the stupidity of saying he sounds like a parrot in the early 80s.

At least Brian Johnson CAN sing, unlike these new f.ucking emo bands and "punk" bands.
