not bad at all, it's no American Idiot, however, it's pretty damn fun nonetheless

Alright I setup a custom EQ -JUST- for the trilogy in EqualizerAPO. It's actually such a good result, it pretty much proves the entire mix was done with colored speakers rather than individual instruments being recorded poorly. The entire mix benefits from the same adjustments.
Now even still, Billie's pickups for the trilogy are still weird (they're warm and the recording wasn't touched up much in mixing to give it shine like in most green day albums, yet the mix overall is still too bright). But not nearly as weird once the EQ is applied. The gist is you need more in the upper bass and just a lot of fucking around in general. Most treble needs to be lowered, but not all; I needed to keep 9-10khz high.

it has good songs but this is so mind-numbingly boring to sit all the way through.

21st Century Breakdown is so much better than this album imo. Like at least over a third of that album is good music.

low key I want to hear the demos for all of the trilogy. I have a playlist for my favs but it can't be used with demolicious which only has about half the songs I need
Maybe one day when we get an anniversary addition and the rumored trilogy remaster (?)
