looks a bit long m8

also no long progression?

interesting

good band to make alternate (better) album tracklists of

rearranging btw and its b-sides to make a 15 track masterpiece

and condensing SA into one disc worth gives super results

Not any longer than BTW or BSSM so I thought I could get away with it, could trim off Monarchy and Brutus in a pinch I suppose

don't care much for Long Progression, just feels flat to me

yeah they're pretty perfect for it, quality b-sides for days, I only just discovered Teenager in Love, what a tune

I know they were phoning it in hard here but I still think it's a pretty enjoyable album.

i think my issue with this album is that theres some pretty cool ideas here and there, like the vocal glitching and the bassline in Monarchy of Roses or Brendan's Death Song as a whole, but they're so underdeveloped and unfocused that it makes the album a massive chore to go through.

I like Rain Dance Maggice, Even You Brutus, Happiness Loves Company, and Meet Me At The Corner but thats about it.

Not a bad record, not a good record. Production drags this down IMO, it all feels sterile and Josh is buried way too deep in the mix. Like someone said earlier in the thread, there's a decent album here between this and the B-sides.

I feel like The Getaway rectified a lot of the mistakes made here, honestly
