Are those lyrics? If not, what a nicely poetic way to make a threat!

I saw him around this time last year at the myer music bowl.
He did the majority of his new album which was all cool and had that dark atmosphere and then BAM he just went into from her to enternity and the place just exploded with energy and volume.
He also had a children's choir which made songs like the ship song just super awesome.

oh yeah, I've seen some clips when he uses a children's choir for the new tour. cool idea. also, must have been pretty damn epic (for lack of a more original phrasing) when he played that tune. it's such a dark, brooding classic Cave song.

The Ship Song? Oh yeah one of the best for sure.
Also the way he creeped around and paced the stage in songs like Stagger Lee and Tupelo was just terrifyingly awesome and cool.

I meant From Her to Eternity, but the Ship Song is a brilliant tune too. Less brooding, more melancholy romantic I'd say.
Hahaha, did he play Stagger Lee with the children's choir? that song is seriously dark ^^

Damn I would love to see how Push the Sky Away would translate live
The title track and We Kno Who U R are just perfect

Oh yeah man I forgot Jubilee Street! That song just took to another level live! I mean that ending on record is good but I swear I can't even put into words what I saw and heard live haha.
Nah the kids were taken away toward the end of the set when he played all the bat shit insane songs like Stagger Lee

a little slumber
a little folding of the hands to sleep
a little love
a little hate
a little trickery and deceit

Its so tough to decide on a favourite song. The Weeping Song, Lament, The Hammer song, and the title track are all amazing.

This is one of his best, a more subdued follow-up to the dark, intense Tender Prey

I think a strong case can be made for Push The Sky Away being up there with his greatest too.
