They're not nu-metal because they scream, they play nu-metal, they are in no way alt-rock, A Perfect Circle is alt-rock (sort of), Karnivool are alt rock, these guys bear nothing in common with those.

I think all this hate towards LP is abit unnecessary.
They def aren't an "amazing band" but they are at the top of the Nu-Metal genre.
IMO they're the best Rap/Sung Nu-metal act out there and that has to account for something.
So ya go ahead and rip into this fanyboy (we need less here) but remember that LP has some decent tracks and there are way more scene bands putting out worst shit then them....minus M2M that album was the worst release of 07.

I just despise the guitarist and bassist, their worthless, plus the lyrics make me cringe nowadays.
But when I saw them at the Air Canada center back when I was in Highschool, I was blown away by their live performance.

I come onto this website to discuss and read about metal. My ratings reflect metal because thats all I rate on this site. It certainly doesn't mean I don't listen to punk and rock moron. At least I gave reasoning as to why I think this band is mediocre. I just think your musical tastes are immature as hell and therefore you take it out and people who obviously listen to far more music than you do. Your going to get 'schooled' on this website for hyping up bands like Linkin Park. Not by me, but your going to have a rough time defending your case. Hahahah I'm going to get some Opeth and King Crimson tattoos today! I thought MCR had some cool artwork with The Black Parade. Just don't get the new In Flames album cover tattooed on you. One of the worst album covers ever!
