This was pretty much what I was expecting. Definitely see where the Agalloch comparisons come from. They pretty much have the same black/folk metal formula with doom influences.

BMD Katatonia + Agalloch = The Morningside
Heck they named all the songs in the album just like Katatonia did in Brave Murder Day. Though very similar they did make them more uplifting with Agalloch-esque influences
