I just listened to "Aint Love Grand" for the first time in quite a while. Wow. My disgust knows no bounds. The riffs were mediocre, the vocals were dumb, and that guy couldn't scream his way out of a paper bag. Like, really it sounded like he had a burp caught in his throat or something.

Metallica are tons better than Atreyu. Common fact. More influential, better writing, better guitarists, a bassist who actually DOES something, and even (dare I say it??) better drumming and vocals. And you can't get much worse than Metallica's drumming.
So, in short, your womanly pants are constricting the blood flow to your tiny brain. Wipe that mascara off of your face, put on some actual pants, wear a yellow shirt, clean that black shit off of your fingernails, and learn where music is ACTUALLY at.

This is personally my favorite Atreyu record at the moment, but this review was pretty good. My favorite song from this record is At Least I Know I'm a Sinner. This review is really right about the intro to this album, you know you're in for something great.

This is one of those CD's that I use to think was pretty BA back in 7th grade. Nowadays, its ok, if that. Listening to the lyrics just puts me in a bad mood now, they're so mellow haha. I always got past Alex's scream, It never bothered me, and now a days we have plenty of bands that have annoying screams. Lip Gloss and Black is probably the only song I can go back to again and again, in my books its a classic. The rest of the album, eh. Deanna the Arsonist was pretty good, that's about all I can remember now though haha.

ok their both good albums, and to say they didnt put enough work into the curse is insane. i personally listen to suicide notes a lot more often, but the curse is a good album if your into the band. but suicide notes had much better choruses and in my opinion better songs.
