Am very keen to get this record. I'm getting this, new Snow Patrol and my old Alexisonfire albums back today.
Also, you are completely more worthy of Contributing Reviewer than I- I hardly get the time to write at this point, where as you go through the process we mentioned in another one of your reviews.

Dude, it's been so friggin' hot I think I would have died in one of those masks.
But yeah, they put on a fantastic show.

John, I can only your question by saying "Yes, in my opinion, it is".
Don't you think that in some instances, artists work best when they have their backs to the wall so to speak? And in situations like Pink is in at present, some will put it into cruise control and do just what they have to. It won't mean that it results in a necessarily bad album, but it won't be outstanding either.
Plus, it's only 1 of 7 paragraphs (+ the closing line) used up on that theme, so I don't think it really dominates the review. I hope not anyway.

No No John, you misunderstood (did you like that pun?). I was saying exactly the opposite. I was suggesting she had her back against the wall after 'Try This'. Many wrote her off after that album & she bounced back big time with 'I'm Not Dead'. Therefore, with this album, she really doesn't have all that much to prove... & it shows.
I don't even know who Atavan was asking that 'record store' question of...???
Dave, I'm gonna guess you will rate this a 2. Maybe a 2.5 if you are in a good mood. How'd I do...???
