Why on earth didn't anybody tell me about these LEGENDS earlier? And how the f**k are we supposed to rate this?
Parody act Steel Panther mock glam/hair-metal with surprisingly sharp attention to detail on their debut LP 'Feel The Steel'. The LA quartet don't take themselves seriously at all ("Why do all my lyrics sound like Dr. Seuss"), yet are talented both vocally & musically. The vulgar & obscene lyrics are as subtle as a sledgehammer, and occasionally cross the line into being offensive, meaning the album does wear thin in its final third. Thankfully, 'Feel The Steel' is not only hilarious for the most part, but damn catchy as well. Recommended Tracks: Asian Hooker, Death to All But Metal, Fat Girl (Thar She Blows) & Community Property.
